Dear Colleagues,

Greetings for a new and exciting 2012!

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to yet another year full of educational activities and community projects.

Under the leadership of our Immediate Past-President (2010 - 2012), Riza Mauricio, the PNAMH has achieved so much. With the support of the new Executive Board, I am committed to taking up the mantle that Riza and all of our past presidents have so ably and generously worn.

Our focus has been and will continue to be carrying out the mission we set forth: that of "providing a forum for upholding the professional image and fostering the welfare of the Filipino-American nurses and our Associate Members."

While we have much to celebrate, the work ahead remains enormous. I encourage you to communicate with us regarding your needs and how we can better meet them. There will be challenges to overcome, but if we work together, we can--and will--succeed in our mission.

I look forward to serving as your President and working with you to accomplish our goals.
